Germanwings Named One Of The Most Punctual European Airlines In The World

Cologne-based Germanwings was recently ranked second most punctual airline in the world out of all airlines evaluated in a Europe-wide comparison carried out by American online service Flight Stats.

Flight Stats evaluates all scheduled flights worldwide.

Germanwings has taken the title of second most punctual airline in Europe over the past month. “After top results in the preceding months, the airline continues to strengthen its leading position in an area that it believes is of particular importance to its passengers,” an announcement said.

Only a Spanish airline with a punctuality rate of 92.73 percent managed to pip Germanwings to first place. With 91.6 percent, Germanwings had the second best result when compared to almost all other European competitors.
