The major challenges the Greek hospitality sector is facing today will be analyzed in detail during the 3rd General Assembly of the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels that will take place 7 February 2014 at the Metropolitan Expo during the 9th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HORECA. During the annual general assembly, the chamber will go over its finances and actions of the previous year and present data on the latest performance of Greek hotels. Hoteliers will be given an update on the developments and problems of the country’s tourism and economy and also be briefed on the trends and progress of the international tourism market. “Participation in the General Assembly has proven an important weapon in our effort to place Greek tourism even higher and at the same time highlight the sector as a high priority on the political and economic agenda of the country,” the chamber’s president, Yiorgos Tsakiris, said in a recent announcement to Greek hoteliers.
