Almost one million travelers decided on this year’s most popular hotels worldwide through their reviews

Twenty-one Greek hotels were among the 400 most popular hotels worldwide recently honored with the HolidayCheck Award 2014.

The winners of the award, given by European independent travel portal HolidayCheck, were decided based on over 980,000 traveler reviews submitted in 2013 from 41 countries.

The HolidayCheck Award 2014 is divided into 6 categories, the most prestigious being “The country’s No.1” category. These hotels have topped all other hotels in each of the 41 destinations. Other categories include: beach holidays, city trips, family holidays, couples and spa & relaxation.
