New Tourism Awards 2014 To Celebrate Excellence in Greek Hospitality & Travel

Submissions are due 25 February!

Greek tourism’s best practices and the most innovative initiatives launched by the country’s enterprises will be rewarded this Spring at the upcoming new tourism awards.

The Tourism Awards 2014 are organized by publishing company Boussias Communications and Hotel & Restaurant magazine and aim to promote excellence and innovation in the fields of travel, hospitality & leisure.

Who do the awards concern?

The new Tourism Awards will single out and reward the most remarkable actions and practices of Greek hotels, restaurants, travel agencies, tour operators, airline and shipping companies, Regions and other businesses and organizations active in the field of travel, hospitality and leisure.

Actions to be rewarded include best investment strategies that have lengthened the season, excellence of offered services and use of new technologies for the benefit of the hospitality and tourism industry

Tourism award categories

The 12 main award categories are: Strategy and Innovation, Customer Service & Experience, Specialty Offering, Architecture and Design, Branding – Public Relations & CSR, Digital & Social Marketing, Technology, Operations, Sustainability, Gastronomy, People Strategy and Travel & Transportation.

Nominations will be evaluated by an independent committee consisting of eminent Greek and European university professors and representatives of professional bodies and associations.

The deadline for submitting nominations is 25 February and the awards ceremony will take place in April 2014.
