The Mount Athos Area Organization recently gave tips on the idea of the perfect wedding ceremony at the Athos Region in Halkidiki, during the Balkanica Wedding Expo held in Sofia, Bulgaria. Representatives from the organization presented the region as the ideal wedding and honeymoon destination to hundreds of couples that intend to tie the knot in the near future. Couples were informed on existing travel packages prepared by local businesses/members that include the organizing of the perfect wedding and romantic honeymoon holiday. The Mount Athos Area stand also attracted the attention of many travel agency representatives that specialize in honeymoon packages and companies that organize wedding ceremonies and events. Discussions involved including the Greek region as a wedding destination in new travel packages. The organization also gave a detailed presentation of the region to 40 travel agency representatives that attended the exhibition.
