9th HORECA Expo Opens At Metropolitan Expo

HORECA_2014_opening_IMG_5407_19th-horeca-2014---logo“The HORECA trade show is of particular importance for Greek tourism as professionals receive the information they need to modernize their facilities at a time when the key issue for Greek tourism is to improve its quality and provide more and improved services to visitors,” Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni said on 7 February, during the opening ceremony of the 9th International Hotel, Restaurant and Cafe Show HORECA at the Metropolitan Expo.

The tourism minister noted that upgrading Greece’s hotel facilities and infrastructure is a necessary condition to respond to the growing competition in tourism.

After referring to last year’s good year for Greek tourism, Mrs. Kefalogianni commented: “Our goal for 2014 is to continue this successful path unabated.”
