City of Loutraki The Loutraki Tourism Organization recently held a familiarization trip for 35 American travel agents and tour operators earlier this month to promote the Greek tourist product of Loutraki, a seaside resort on the Gulf of Corinth, Peloponnese, Greece. According to the organization, the aim of the fam trip was to present and introduce the tourist product of the Peloponnese and promote Loutraki and Corinth as attractive and safe destinations. During the trip, the American travel professionals participated in presentations, attended meetings with the region’s tourism figures and took part in networking events. They also conducted inspections of the city’s tourism facilities and visited cultural, historic and gastronomic sites. The organization promoted Loutraki as a destination ideal for special forms of tourism such as thermalism, conference, sports, religious, casino and wine tourism. The trip included visits to the Alexander Convention Center, the Loutraki Thermal Spa, the Club Hotel Casino Loutraki, the SPORTCAMP, the Isthmian Corinth Canal, the archaeological site of Ancient Corinth, Ancient Nemea and other attractions of the region.
