Hospitality GNTO Launches Second Phase of Social Tourism Program For Greeks by GTP editing team 12 February 2014 written by GTP editing team 12 February 2014 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 34 The second phase of the state-subsidized vacation program “Tourism For All” will run from 12 March to 30 June 2014, according to the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO). The program provides vouchers for subsidized six-day vacations (five overnight stays) in various resorts across Greece. The second phase of the vacation program will provide 28,400 vouchers for distribution to beneficiaries (23,400 individual vouchers to workers and 5,000 to pensioners that are senior citizens or have a disability). Eligibility requirements Eligible to take part in the state-subsidized vacation program are those who have a yearly income of 16,000 euros (individuals), families with a yearly income of 28,000 euros (plus 1,500 euros for each child) and multi-child families with a yearly income of 35,000 euros (plus 1,500 euros for each child). All pensioners over 60 years of age are eligible, regardless of their income. Further guidelines for beneficiaries can be found here (in Greek). Hotels participating in the program will be announced online after 21 February. Vouchers for the “Tourism for All” state-subsidized vacation program will be distributed from the Citizen Service Centers (KEP).
