He was 76. Carayanides was born in Piraeus on 22 December 1938. After finishing school, he traveled abroad to study tourism education in Germany and Switzerland. In the early ’60s, he joined his father at the already-established travel agency Carayanides Travel & Tourism. The funeral service for Carayanides will take place on Thursday 20 February at the Church of Saint Theodore in the First Cemetery of Athens, at 4pm.
