The organizer promises another exhibition full of innovative ideas for professional growth and ways to strengthen the development of Greece’s tourism industry. The exhibition What made the exhibition “stand out” was that visitors had the opportunity to navigate among the course of development of a hotel and tourism product. The positioning of exhibitors was according to the eight steps of development, starting from the capture of the idea and evolving to the promotion and positioning in the broader tourism market. 100% Hotel Show also had a very impressive entrance area, which was an exemplary Greek hotel model named “Into the Light Hotel” – a concept not ever seen before at a Greek exhibition. A strong advantage of the exhibition was the hosted buyers program, which was supported by the Greek National Tourism Organization. Over 200 pre-scheduled meetings were held between foreign tourism professionals and Greek hoteliers. Professional visitors described 100% Hotel Show as one of the most innovative “boutique exhibition” concepts they had ever experienced. 100% Hotel Show counted more than 100 exhibitors and 4,000 professional visitors. During the two days of the exhibition (8-10 February), the Mediterranean Exhibition Center (MEC) in Paiania, East Attica, welcomed professional visitors that included 1,100 hoteliers, 145 travel agents, 765 architects, 110 construction companies, 177 journalists, 545 suppliers, 485 services related to tourism, 365 young professionals, 232 business consultants, 170 students and 132 professionals of general businesses. The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Greek Tourism Ministry, the Hellenic Association of Travel & Tourist Agencies (HATTA), the Hellenic Association of Professional Congress Organizers (HAPCO), the Athens-Attica & Argosaronic Hotel Association and the Athens Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB). Greek Travel Pages (GTP) was one of the main media sponsors of the fair. 100% Hotel Show photo report 100% Hotel Show resting area.Honeymoon suite suggestions by Greek architects and designers.Athens Walking Tours stand - Yiannis Yiannakakis, managing director and Despina Savvidou, licensed guide.Snowreport.gr stand - Snowreport.gr is a leading Greek website for reporting the weather and snow conditions on the greek ski centers to skiers.Gastronomy Museum stand - Nayia Melissinou and Constantinos MatsourdelisMr. and Mrs. Oikonomou of Morphos Sofas and Beds."Idisti, Greece with a twist" stand - Alexandra Charitatou, co-founder.
