Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni will depart for Berlin, Germany, on Monday 3 March, on the occasion of Greece’s participation in the leading international tourism exhibition ITB. The exhibition will run 5-9 March at the Messe Berlin International Convention Center. Mrs. Kefalogianni will inagurate the Greek stand on Tuesday 4 March. During her stay in Berlin, the Greek tourism minister will meet with Germany’s federal deputy labor minister and appointed special envoy to promote Greek-German cooperation on a local administration level, Hans-Joachim Fuchtel. She will also hold a meeting with the deputy minister for SMEs and Tourism, Iris Gleiche, to discuss issues involving the Greek-German cooperation in the tourism sector and attracting investment. Mrs. Kefalogianni is scheduled to meet with senior executives of leading tourism organizations such as Thomas Cook and TUI and representatives of Air Berlin, Germany’s largest budget airline.
