The Region of the South Aegean recently launched its new website www.aegeanislands.gr that offers rich content and information on a series of activities that can be experienced on each island of the region. Personalized experiences offered The innovative aspect of the new portal is that users can register and enter their personal preferences and interests and the system will accordingly make personalized suggestions based on the time of year of a planned visit. The website will be constantly updated and fully operational by mid-August when it will be possible for users to upload their experiences and share them via social network channels. The construction of the new website was supervised by University of Crete Professor Yiorgos Vitsakis.
