A boat, a heart or a column will soon be the new product identification label for Greece, according to the Greek Ministry of Development & Competitiveness.

The ministry recently presented the three proposed designs for an identification label of Greek products and services. The selection of the three final designs followed a competition launched by the ministry some four years ago.

The purpose of the new label is to assure the Greek origin of products and services to protect the consumer, promote Greek production and benefit the national economy.

A 15-day online poll is expected to launch very soon by the ministry for the final selection of the label that will accompany Greek products and services.

The use of the final label will be voluntary.

The three proposed designs can be seen below.
