This summer, Condor will launch a new route to Kalamata, Greece, from the German cities of Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart. Flights will operate from 26 June until 11 September 2014.

During a briefing held in Athens by the German airline’s general sales agent (GSA) in Greece, Discover the World, Greek travel agents were informed that Condor would also continue direct flights from Germany to eight Greek destinations (Chania, Heraklion, Corfu, Kos, Mykonos, Preveza, Santorini and Skiathos).

The German air carrier will also launch a route to Minneapolis from Frankfurt from 26 June to 11 September 2014. Flights from Larnaca, Cyprus, to four German cities (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Munich and Hannover) will continue.

New services

In regards to new services, Greek travel agents were informed in regards to Condor’s pioneering Airshoppen service that offers passengers the opportunity to shop tax-free before their flight from the comfort of their home.

The airline has also launched an online platform exclusively for travel agents that provides useful information on ticket prices, routes and charges for baggage, sports equipment, pets etc.

Greek travel agents were informed that airline ticket purchases can be made through Condor’s “Tourcom” website that allows direct sales with a 3-euro commission per segment to IATA and non-Iata travel agents.
