OTM_Mideast_Aiming to expand further in emerging tourism markets, Mideast has been attending internationally recognized tourism exhibitions around the world since the beginning of the year.

The Greek travel agency has already registered for all major events worldwide for the first semester of 2014, covering important geographical markets.

Mideast will tap into the Arabian Market through its attendance at the GIBTM (Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition) in Abu Dhabi during 25-27 March and ATM (Arabian Travel Market) in Dubai on 5-8 May 2014.

Next, Mideast will explore the world market at IMEX (Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings and Events) in Frankfurt on 20-22 May.

In addition, the travel agency will attend the TTA (Travel Trade Athens) in Athens, a relatively new event in the Greek market that is gaining the reputation as the most important fair to promote Athens as a destination for M.I.C.E. tourism. TTA will take place 14-16 April.

HACT_MIDEAST_DSC_8861_Mideast has already attended two major exhibitions in India, SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange) in New Delhi and OTM (Outbound Market) in Mumbai; the EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition) in Istanbul, Turkey and the IFT (International Fair of Tourism) in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece.

Moreover, the travel agency strengthened ties with the U.S. market by participating in a B2B conference in Athens organized by the Hellenic-American Chamber of Tourism.

Mideast’s latest attendance was at LTM (Luxury Travel Mart) in Moscow, where the company’s representatives met with executives from the most popular travel agencies of the C.I.S. that are interested in luxury outbound tourism towards Greece.

“We always consider our participation in the greatest tourism congresses and exhibitions around the world as the best way to promote our beautiful country,” Katerina Mousbeh, the owner and managing director of Mideast, said.
