The event, entitled “The Peloponnese Arrives in the Heart of London” was held 17–21 February and attracted a whopping 5,000 people. From families to avid explorers, the in-store takeover proved that the stunning region in Southern Greece has plenty to offer for all types of travelers, whether they are culture-seekers, adrenaline junkies or simply sun-worshipers! The event embodied the spirit of the region, which instantly fascinated visitors on first approach and continued to enchant their vision of Greece with every step. A video of the five-day event in London was just released (see below). The event will also travel to cities including Paris, Vienna, Munich, Dusseldorf and Stockholm; all of which offer direct flights to Kalamata (second largest city in the Peloponnese). UK is one of the top inbound markets for the Peloponnese. Follow GTP Headlines on Google News to keep up to date with all the latest on tourism and travel in Greece.
