Peloponnese_LondonThe Region of the Peloponnese in Southern Greece was promoted in London last month in a five-day exhibition hosted at the National Geographic store in Knightsbridge, London, UK.

The event, entitled “The Peloponnese Arrives in the Heart of London” was held 17–21 February and attracted a whopping 5,000 people.

From families to avid explorers, the in-store takeover proved that the stunning region in Southern Greece has plenty to offer for all types of travelers, whether they are culture-seekers, adrenaline junkies or simply sun-worshipers!

The event embodied the spirit of the region, which instantly fascinated visitors on first approach and continued to enchant their vision of Greece with every step.

A video of the five-day event in London was just released (see below). The event will also travel to cities including Paris, Vienna, Munich, Dusseldorf and Stockholm; all of which offer direct flights to Kalamata (second largest city in the Peloponnese).

UK is one of the top inbound markets for the Peloponnese.
