Greece To Host Group Wedding Ceremony For Shanghai Couples

Greece will be the destination for some happy couples in this year’s annual Rose Wedding Ceremony organized in Shanghai, the Shanghai Daily, the largest English-language news portal in East China, reported recently.

According to the report, lovebirds will have a group wedding ceremony inside a castle alongside the Aegean Sea, and tour Crete, Santorini and Athens from 23 April to 3 May 2014.

“Wedding rings will be presented by Greek girls in costumes of ancient Greece,” the director of the Shanghai Wedding Trade Association, Cao Zhonghua, told the Shanghai Daily.

The number of couples will be limited to 15 to 16 and the entire group will be no more than 100 people after couples’ relatives and friends are added to ensure the quality of tour.

The Rose Wedding, Shanghai’s most famous mass wedding, is held once every year.
