Registration Open For 32nd Athens Marathon

Registration for the 32nd Athens Marathon has opened eight months before the event, organizer Hellenic Athletics Federation (SEGAS) has announced.

The Athens Marathon recently entered a new era of development and creativity and is now known as “Athens Marathon. The Authentic.” Runners are invited from all over the world to participate in the historic event and meet the true Authentic.

The “Athens Marathon. The Authentic” will take place on 9 November 2014.

Every year, more and more people join the Athens Marathon, the Authentic Marathon, and every year registration closes sooner as participation limits are met earlier. This year, the official registration period will last only a few months.

It should be noted that especially for the 5km & 10km Road Races, registration is expected to close before the end of May 2014, while the participation limit of 13,000 runners for the Marathon Race will also be met at an early date.

SEGAS invites all interested to participate, to submit their registration for the Athens Marathon – the Authentic Marathon – through the marathon’s official website early enough, to secure a place at the start line.

The organizer promises a unique lifetime experience for all marathon runners around the world, in Greece, the country of culture and sports.
