Rhodes is the second preferred Greek destination for foreign tourists that plan to come to Greece for Easter. The island has an average overnight accommodation rate of 61 euros for a double room. The third most preferred destination in Greece for the Easter holiday is Chania on Crete, which also happens to have the lowest price for hotel stay (average price at 58 euros per night) in the top 10. Trivago notes that Athens is the cheapest European capital city this year with an average overnight accommodation price of 80 euros, followed by Berlin in Germany with an average price of 94 euros per night. The first destination of choice for the Greeks is Rome with an average overnight accommodation rate at 168 euros. Their second and third city of preference are more expensive choices: Paris at 177 euros per night and London at 200 euros per night respectively. The fourth place of preference is occupied by Istanbul, followed by Barcelona. The first Greek destination to appear in the top 10 of Easter destinations for the Greeks is Corfu in the sixth place. The island has an average overnight accommodation rate of 104 euros.
