transavia_tailsLow-cost airline transavia.com recently operated its first flight from Athens, Greece, to Paris, France.

“We are very glad to offer scheduled services everyday between Athens and Paris. It is a pleasure to welcome Greek people on board and offering passengers an attractive price,” Hervé Kozar, chief commercial officer of transavia.com, said.

Mr. Kozar said that demand is over expectations so far and that transavia.com believes very strongly in the Athens-Paris route.

“Athens and Greece is for us a key market where we want to stay and grow further in the coming months,” he added.

This summer, the airline will operate 70 routes from five French airports (Paris-Orly Sud, Nantes, Lyon, Lille and Strasbourg) including 18 new destinations.

transavia.com also operates several flights every week from Athens to Nantes, Lyon, Amsterdam and Eindhoven.
