Emirates Announces New Area Manager for Greece & Albania

Emirates has announceed the appointment of Jaber Mohamed as the new Area Manager for Greece and Albania.

Mr. Mohamed joined Emirates Airline in 2010. He started his career with Emirates as part of the airline’s successful UAE National Commercial Management Program. Then, he was appointed as Emirates Area Manager for Cyprus, a position that he held for the past two years.

“Athens is a very important station for Emirates’ business and leisure travelers and cargo services, being and profitable at the same time for the company,” Mr. Mohamed said.

According to Emirates’ new area manager for Greece and Albania, after 18 years of solid operations in Greece, the airline’s priority is to maintain the capacity in the local market, so as to serve even more destinations in its network from Dubai and beyond to Asia, Australasia, Far East, and Africa.

Jaber Mohamed holds a Bachelor Degree in Law with grade excellent from the University of Sharjah in UAE and a Post graduation Degree from the Institution of Judicial Studies, UAE.

Mohammad Sarhan, the former Greece Area Manager, who successfully held the position for the last two years, has been appointed Emirates Area Manager for Vietnam.

Operating seven weekly non-stop services from Athens to Dubai, with a fleet of 218 aircrafts and already the largest A380 operator in the world, with 47 in service, Emirates currently flies to 142 destinations in 80 countries over 6 continents.
