TripAdvisor Names Travelers’ Choice Favorites For 2014

Figuring out what to pack for a summer getaway can be quite a task. You’ve got to think about everything from airplane must-haves to pool and beach necessities and more.

Travel site TripAdvisor recently announced the winners of the 2014 Travelers’ Choice Awards for Travel Favorites, the brands travelers around the world have said they prefer to use on their trips.

TripAdvisor surveyed over 95,000 travelers around the world (including over 30,000 in the United States alone) to find out which summer travel essentials they want most on their next getaway.

In the U.S., winners in 46 categories – including airlines (Southwest), car rentals (Enterprise Rent-A-Car), golf equipment (Nike), camera (Canon) guidebook (Lonely Planet), coffee (Starbucks) and travel magazines (National Geographic Traveler) -were named.
