International Museum Day 2014: Free Entrance In Greek Museums On 18 May

The new Museum of Acropolis,Greek museums are taking part in the worldwide celebration of International Museum Day on Sunday 18 May 2014 and will be open free of charge.

On the occasion of International Museum Day, several events have been scheduled to run until 18 June at museums, monuments, archaeological sites and cultural institutions throughout Greece.

Events include exhibitions, educational programs for students of primary and secondary education, workshops, conferences, lectures and guided tours.

The theme for International Museum Day 2014 is “Museum collections make connections.”
