The website of Athens International Airport (AIA) has received another important recognition as it was honored with the top award during the Greek Graphic Design & Illustration Awards “EBGE 2014” that took place recently in the Greek capital. AIA’s website www.aia.gr, which was developed and designed in collaboration with Mozaik, was honored by EBGE in the “Websites/information” category for its “innovative design, easy navigation, interactive creativity and visual communication of destination Athens by offering a unique experience to the online visitor.” Established in 2002, the EBGE awards are considered one of the most important annual events on the Greek graphic design and illustration calendar. The event aims to record and identify the best design projects in Greece and promote the value of applied arts to the broader social and economic environment. The “EBGE 2014” award is the third important distinction for the airport’s website following its winnings at Τhe Lovie Awards 2013 (Travel/Tourism website category – silver winner) and Ermis Awards (Digital–Travel category – golden winner). The 13th Greek Graphic Design and Illustration EBGE Awards are organized by Greek magazine +DESIGN and held under the auspices of the International Council of Communication Design (Icograda) and the Greek Graphic Designers Association.
