euro_notes_coinsGreek online travel agency Travelplanet24 has received financing of 3.5 million euros from the Elikonos Jeremie and Odyssey Jeremie Partners investment schemes.

These are two of the four Jeremie* Holding Funds that operate in Greece with resources from the European Investment Fund.

The funding received by Travelplanet24 is said to be the largest capital investment made so far in Greece through the Jeremie program. The financing was coordinated by the First Athens Corporate Finance.

“The investment will be directed to the faster growth of the company abroad, to new technologies and potential acquisitions in countries of strategic interest,” the company’s CEO, Philipp Brinkmann, said in an announcement.

According to the announcement, Travelplanet24 more than doubled its turnover from 98 million in 2012 to 206 million in 2013.
