Destinations news Crete: Four Touches Of Colors In The Mediterranean, New Promo Video by GTP editing team 26 May 2014 written by GTP editing team 26 May 2014 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 13 Picturesque landscapes, historical monuments and traditional elements compose the new promotional video for Crete to markets abroad, which was launched recently by the island’s regional authorities. The video is based on Crete’s new tourism identity that was unveiled during the ITB Berlin exhibition and reflects the values that make the island a unique destination for visitors. The promotional video focuses on four touches of colors that represent different characteristics of the island of four seasons and all senses: a stroke of blue for the sky – be it winter of summer – and Cretan sea; a stroke of green for the olive groves and their oil, the vineyards and their wine; a stroke of amber for the sun’s magic, for the history of the land and for the warmth of the locals; and a stroke of light blue for the crystal waters and for the mesmerizing Minoan Women. The message of the video reads: “Four brush strokes of Crete in the Mediterranean… Your first thought, your second home… Crete, the island inside you.” Below is the new promotional video of Crete, directed by Thodoris Papadoulakis.
