“Athens Walking Tours” Receives 2014 Certificate Of Excellence

Athens Walking Tours, an operator that offers innovative, fresh and memorable activities to visitors of the Greek capital, has been honored for the fourth time in a row with the Certificate of Excellence from travel website TripAdvisor.

The Certificate of Excellence Award honors hospitality excellence, and is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveler reviews on TripAdvisor.

Athens Walking Tours also recently won the international award for “Best Local Operator 2014” by Viator, the leading resource for researching, finding and booking the best travel experiences worldwide. Viator, based in San Francisco, provides options for 15,000 unique tours for 1,000 destinations worldwide in more than 150 countries and in many languages.

Athens Walking Tours was launched in 2004 by licensed guide Despina Savvidou and represents an innovative tourism activity in the Greek capital. High quality walking tours of historic and gastronomic interest are offered to visitors of Athens, daily and throughout the year.
