Greek Gastronomy Goes To Hong Kong

Shangri_LaGReat_Kouzina_logo_1The Chef’s Club of Greece will present authentic Greek cuisine and delicious dishes prepared exclusively with Greek products to residents of one of Hong Kong’s most luxurious hotels.

Executive Chef Vassilis Mandros will present the “GReat Kouzina” initiative at the Tapas Bar of the 5-star “Kowloon Shangri-La” hotel from 5 to 12 June 2014.

Through nutritious and delicious dishes, the executive chef will introduce the simplicity of Greek gastronomy to the hotels’ guests.

dakosChef Mandros will prepare a rich menu of Greek creations that will include the famous salad with dakos (dakosalata) from Crete, squid from Leros, eggplant sald from Leonidion, giant beans from Kastoria, marinated anchovies from Lesbos and mussels saganaki from Thessaloniki. Dishes will be accompanied by Greek wines and ouzo cocktails.

The event will be organized in cooperation with the Greek Consulate in Hong Kong.
