Event News Greece’s South Aegean Islands Promoted In Athens by GTP editing team 3 June 2014 written by GTP editing team 3 June 2014 0 comments Share 0FacebookTwitterLinkedinWhatsappEmail 13 The Region of the South Aegean is participating in the 5th Greek Tourism Destinations & Traditions Exhibition that is in full swing in the multipurpose area of the Athens metro at Syntagma Square. The exhibition aims to provide information on Greek destinations to residents and visitors of Athens, in view of the upcoming summer holidays. Photo © Region of South Aegean According to an announcement by the region, since the first day the exhibition opened on 2 June, the stands of the Aegean islands have received many visitors requesting information about the group’s islands and traditional products. At the exhibition, the region is represented by the Dodecanese islands of Kos, Nisyros and Astypalea and the Cyclades islands of Kythnos, Sikinos, Tinos, Milos, Antiparos, Santorini, Paros, Andros and Folegandros. The exhibition wraps up on 4 June and is organized by Vertical Communications and held under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO).
