With summer holidays approaching, Trivago has ranked Mediterranean destinations according to user ratings and reviews.

The Greek island of Santorini is a clear favorite as Imerovigli and Oia occupy the top two spots of the list. Santorini again makes an “appearance” on the list in the sixth place with the town of Fira. Further on the list we find Mykonos and destinations on Crete: Rethymno (10th place) and Chania (12 place).

The destination reputation ranking was calculated from Trivago user ratings and reviews compiled from over 150 booking sites. Destinations must have at least 5,000 aggregated reviews and 60 hotels to be included on the list.
