Daily_Secret_Greece_1The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO) recently wrapped up a two-month e-mail marketing campaign launched via the Daily Secret digital guide. The campaign aimed to inspire travel enthusiasts from the United States and Canada to visit Greece.

The GNTO spread the word on Greece and highlighted the country’s many different faces through an innovative e-mail marketing campaign that gave emphasis on highly curated content and capitalized on Daily Secret’s booming penetration in the U.S. and Canadian markets.

American and Canadian Daily Secret members were invited to discover their “traveler type” through a mini-quiz. Then, based on their answers, they received a tailored thematic travel guide that included an interactive “magic map” for an unforgettable vacation in Greece. Each participant was then automatically entered into a competition to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Amorgos Island.

According to reports, the open rate of the e-mails exceeded 25 percent, while 44 percent of users who responded to the test also downloaded the GNTO’s similar thematic guide that contains useful information for holidays in Greece.

Daily Secret, with ThinkDigital as its exclusive advertising representative in Greece, addresses over 1.8 million users around the world, the vast majority of whom are considered trend-setters and are aged 25-44 years old, well-educated, affluent and always connected.
