The New York Post Reveals Hotspots In Athens, Greece

New York Post’s journalist Gisela Williams came to Athens, toured the city’s streets, talked with Athenians, went shopping, sampled beverages and food and then wrote up a personal favorites list to inform readers what can be discovered when spending time in the Greek capital.

king_george_athensEntitled “What bust? Greek’s ancient capital is back in bloom,” the New York Post lists hotspots in Athens for food, drink, accommodation and shopping.

Among her top choices for accommodation are hotels New Hotel and King George (photo). For food and drink, her selections include Funky Gourmet, Island, Varoulko and Salon de Bricolage. In regards to museums and art spaces, the journalist refers to the new Acropolis Museum, the soon-to-open new National Museum of Contemporary Art (at the former Fix brewery) and the Breeder art gallery.
