The partnership will include an exhibition tracing the history of the Games, and the fourth Olympic Education Training Center in Greece, coaching local schools and guests, located at the destination. The collaboration aims to promote further the Olympic ideals and values, introducing them to new audiences in the Messinian region as well as to guests from around the world. As a starting event, on 23 June at 9 am, children of all ages are expected at the Costa Navarino’s golf courses for training in the sport. What is Olympic Day? Olympic Day (23 June) is a celebration around the world to observe the Olympic values of Fair Play, Perseverance, Respect and Sportsmanship. It is also a day to celebrate the International Olympic Committee’s 3 pillars: Move, Learn and Discover. On Olympic Day, all around the world, hundreds of thousands of people – young and old – participate in sports activities, such as runs, exhibitions, music and educational seminars. Over the last two decades, the event has helped to spread the Olympic ideals to every corner of the world.
