The new MSc in Tourism Management program is designed to develop professionals, equipped with the knowledge, skills and values required for a successful career in the national and international tourism industry. According to an announcement, the cooperation will be multi-leveled and yield multiple benefits to the participants of the program, since Costa Navarino and ALBA hold a prominent position in their field respectively. Costa Navarino will provide internships for students of the MSc in Tourism Management at Navarino Dunes premises that includes hotels, convention center, golf course and children’s care, while also two visits of students will be delivered within the academic year. Photo © Costa Navarino As the purpose of the program is to combine theoretical knowledge with practical skills, Costa Navarino has undertaken the οrganization of five workshops in the following areas: Hospitality Management, Finance and Cost Accounting, Managing Service Operations, Destination Management, Purchasing and Supply Management. “ALBA and Costa Navarino share a common goal and vision, which is to promote the development of skillful professionals and future leaders of the sector who will be globally competitive in the tourism industry and will contribute substantially to the elevation of the Greek tourism sector to even higher levels of quality, at par with the best in the world,” the announcement read. The duration of the new MSc in Tourism Management program is 12 months full-time, and 24 months part-time. Classes begin in October while ALBA will accept applications until mid-September.
