The Creta Maris Beach Resort held a bike ride on 27 June in Hersonissos, on the occasion of EU Sustainable Energy Week 2014, and accompanied the solar vehicle “SUNNYCLIST Hybrid Human Solar Vehicles” on its rounds on Crete.

The convoy began at the Creta Maris Beach Resort and finished at the end of the peninsula where the solar vehicle continued its journey. The Creta Maris bike team returned from the beach road of Hersonissos, covering a total distance of some 8 km.

The hotel’s customers and hotel staff took part in the bike ride. The event was attended by the Mayor of Hersonissos Zaharias Doxastakis and a police escort.
