More specifically, SETE sent a letter to its members in light of the over-production of Greek peaches this year, which is expected to continue throughout August, amid the peak tourism season. In the letter, the association urged hoteliers/members to provide peaches at all food service points, inside and outside hotels. “The aim of Greek tourism remains the support and promotion of Greek gastronomy and quality Greek products, which enhance local production and create added value to services offered by tourism,” SETE’s letter read.
