Following a complete renovation of its lobby and health club, and with its restaurant being refreshed, the glam of the 60s comes back to life within its walls.

The lobby has been totally refurbished in a way that fully reflects the vast history and unique architecture of the Mykonos Theoxenia.

Tranquility and euphoria are experienced just by entering the hotel, as its lobby – refreshed with yellow, pastel pink and grey with touches of green – differs from other more conventional ones. The overall 60s ambience travels the hotel’s guests to a decade that enabled mankind to dream and that led to groundbreaking achievements in art, music, cinema, fashion and design.

Jet set clientele

Loved by Jackie Kennedy Onassis and preferred by an array of eternal stars such as Grace Kelly, the Mykonos Theoxenia first opened its doors at the beginning of the 60s, designed by renowned Greek architect Aris Konstantinides. Today, owned by the Louis Group and a member of the Design Hotels, the hotel attracts members of the international jet set, all desiring to experience the glamor of the 60s.

Having the privileged location right next to the famous windmills of Mykonos, the hotel offers 38 deluxe rooms and 12 exquisite suites of unique style, a free form swimming pool with a revitalizing Jacuzzi, a revamped health club, lush green gardens all around its grounds, an inside and outside bar and a restaurant with a popular cuisine right on the water and with stunning views to a sunset over a whitewashed chapel are just some of the elements that compose an experience which fully reflects the hotel’s name: Divine hospitality in Mykonos!

Renowned for the excellent level of services it provides, the Mykonos Theoxenia recently added another recognition to its records with the 2014 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for receiving excellent ratings from its guests.
