Air Transat Νamed Best North American Leisure Airline For Third Consecutive Year

Air Transat was named Best North American Leisure Airline and ranked second in the world’s best leisure airlines at the annual Skytrax World Airline Awards held recently during the Farnborough International Airshow 2014 held in the UK.

Distinctions were based on a survey analyzing the satisfaction of more than 19 million customers, who rated more than 240 airlines on 41 different aspects related to the products and services that make up the passenger experience, from cabin seat comfort to staff service.

“We are very proud to receive this distinction for a third consecutive year. The World Airline Awards are one of the most prestigious honors an airline can receive, and the fact that this award recognizes the quality of our inflight service and our recently redesigned cabin makes it all the more important,” said Air Transat’s general manager, Jean-François Lemay.
