The sites and museums that are scheduled to participate in the August full moon celebrations will be open to the public with free admission from 9pm until 12 midnight. It should be noted that the Acropolis site will not be participating in the events and for that reason will close normally at 8pm. Events in Athens Among the museums and sites to remain open and host events until midnight in Athens include the Acropolis Museum, the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion, the Numismatic Museum and the Archaeological Site of Eleusis.
