Historically, every family in the villages on Crete had its own threshing floor about 6-8 meters in diameter. The traditional way of threshing wheat was part of the activities held by the hotel that are based on the customs and traditions of Crete. Creta Maris Beach Resort is owned by Metaxas Group of Companies and has been operating since 1975. It has a capacity of 680 rooms, suites and bungalows, six restaurants, seven bars, seven swimming pools, a gym, spa, children’s club and many places for outdoor and indoor activities for children and adults.
