Greek products, mezedes (Greek tapas or appetizers) and wine tastings will be featured in the Greek Food and Wine Expo on Sunday 28 September in Boston, United States.

The event will be organized by GreekEat, a non-profit initiative aiming to promote a healthier lifestyle based on Greek cuisine while in parallel promoting the exports of Greek food products in the US, and with the support of the Consulate General of Greece in Boston.

The Greek National Tourism Organization is among the gold sponsors of the event, which will also feature diverse Mediterranean sights and sounds and information about visiting Greece.

Co-organized by the Harvard School of Public Health’s Initiative for Productivity and Health Management and the Cambridge Medical Care Foundation, the event is being held in conjunction with the acclaimed academic conference on Mediterranean Diet and Workplace Health.

The innovative conference will feature lectures, panels, and select chef-supervised meals to increase the awareness, appeal, and understanding of Mediterranean dietary habits as a vehicle for improved workplace and school health.
