According to the announcement, after removing three rows of limestone wall sealing, the archaeologists found the Caryatids to be wearing a long chiton and long fringed himation with rich folds (photos 1 and 2) and thick-soled platforms known as kothornoi that are decorated with red and yellow color (photos 3 and 4). Photo 3 The Caryatids are 2,27 meters tall and they stand on marble pedestals of 1.33 meters length and 0.68 meters width (photo 5). On the surface of the base of the Caryatid facing east, a distinct red color is noticed. Also, part of the Caryatids’ hands was revealed once the soil surrounding them was removed.
