The new site contains several new features and is more than ever a rich source of information about the association, the performance of its members, its key figures, activities and positions. AEA’s strategic plan for the future of European Aviation, Flight Path 2019 is prominently present on the web’s front page. The site further contains much information about AEA’s priorities, events and policy recommendations in various fields like air traffic management, environment, engineering & maintenance, security, cargo, passenger rights, competition and safety & operations. The media section gives an overview of the latest press releases, twitter activities, external presentations and statements. Visitors can now also easily discover the network and schedules of the member airlines on the AEA interactive route map “Flightmaps” that was developed in close cooperation with partner Innovata. The map gives a complete overview of the impressive route network that the 30 AEA member airlines operate. The new site is based on the latest web technology, is visually pleasing, easy to navigate, and responsive to all devices (computers, tablets, smartphones). AEA’s new site can be found at www.aea.be.
