Those wineries are “Gaia,” “Argyros Estate “ in Santorini and “Gerovassiliou” in Epanomi, Thessaloniki. Every year, Wine & Spirits, one of New York’s leading wine publications, publishes its Annual Restaurant Poll, where a large number of restaurant wine specialists, from sommeliers to wine buyers, evaluate wines with the best performance per label, variety and country of origin. On 21 October Wine & Spirits will hold its Top 100 Tasting in San Francisco event to recognize this year’s Top 100 recipients and where they will pour their highest rated wines.
