Greek Athlete Wins Red Bull Freerunning Event On Santorini, Greece

Dimitris Kyrsanidis from Greece won the Art of Motion freerunning event held recently on the Greek island of Santorini. Second was Latvia’s Pavel Petkuns and Alexander Baiturin of Russia was third.

Nineteen-year-old Kyrsanidis gave a world-class performance above the whitewashed stone roofs of Santorini and impressed the judges and a crowd of 1,500 spectators.

Red Bull Art of Motion 2014 brought together 18 urban body artists from 12 countries to mix art and sports when they performed on a course that went over roofs, domes, terraces and swimming pools for a timed run of 90 seconds.
