Mega Airlines Studies is the only Authorized Training Center (ATC) of IATA in Athens and therefore permitted to teach IATA training programs. The new study program is entitled “Hospitality Services Diploma” and certifies the qualifications of workers in the hospitality sector. The study program includes the following courses/modules: Housekeeping Room Attendant, Front Desk Agent, Reservation Sales Agent and Serving the Travel Customer (eLearning). An IATA-certified diploma is awarded for the completion of the above-mentioned courses/modules. The “Hospitality Services Diploma” program should be attended by employees and executives of hotel units (hotels, resort hotels etc) and staff of cruise ships, attractions, tourism offices and restaurants. The study program is also considered extremely useful for graduates of tourism schools that wish to enrich their knowledge and earn professional certification from a global organization such as IATA. The subjects of the study program include: Guest Relations, Industry terms, Cleaning responsibilities, safety & protection, Guest services, Reservations and sales, arrivals & departures procedures, Departmental operations, Safety & security, office operations, selling skills, monetary transactions, customer service in the travel industry, communication with customers, customer service & technology, handling with difficult customers, coping with work stress. Graduates of this course can apply for the highly acclaimed Harvard ManageMentor (HMM) eLearning business administration program at a special graduate price.
