Low-cost carrier easyJet recently launched a new passport scanning function to its mobile app, making it the first European airline to have such a feature.
easyJet’s app now enables customers using an iOS or Android device to scan their passport details using their mobile phone camera making it quicker and easier to check in.
The mobile app was recently awarded “Best Mobile Booking Solution” at the Mobile Travel and Tourism Awards 2014, and “Best B2C App” at the Marketing on Mobile Awards last year.
