Energy efficiency, environmental good practices and green policies were the highlights of a workshop held recently in Athens organized by the Athens-Attica & Argosaronikos Hotel Association. According to a survey of hoteliers by the association, tourism sector entrepreneurs must recognize the importance of environmental action and begin to implement eco-friendly initiatives in order to attract customers who have become all the more environmentally aware. Acting as a mediator between hoteliers and providers, the Athens-Attica & Argosaronikos Hotel Association workshop aims at finding viable solutions that will benefit both the environment and the sector’s entrepreneurs.
