TAP Portugal A319 CS-TTGTAP Portugal, which operates between Europe and Brazil, and Brazilian GOL – Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes, recently agreed on an operational codeshare partnership.

The partnership will provide greater convenience for those looking to travel from Europe to a number of different destinations in Brazil. This will result in improved services to customers of both companies.

As a result of the codeshare agreement, TAP is now able to offer multiple flight options to several Brazilian cities, on top of the 12 served directly from Europe. Using  GOL‘s Brazilian network, TAP will now be able to offer direct links between the international hubs it already serves and also offer customers a significant number of new destinations such as Teresina, Austin, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Iguaçu, João Pessoa, São Luiz, Goiânia, Maceió, Porto Seguro, Victoria and Campina Grande.

It is expected that in the near future this cooperation will be extended to a total of 29 destinations within Brazil, an announcement read.

TAP believes that implementing this codeshare with GOL will meet the expectations of its customers, creating a much wider network throughout Brazil.

Goldstar Aviation is the general sales agent (GSA) of TAP Portugal in Greece.
