In the heart of Athens, at the Technopolis, the Christmas Factory opens its doors for the holiday season with educational workshops, cooking classes, parallel events, concerts, theatrical shows and story-telling sessions for six weeks. Organized by the Municipality of Athens, the 2nd Christmas Factory offers lots of fun at its theme park with a five-euro ticket providing access to eight activities. Santa Claus and his helpers will be on hand to tell the tales of Christmas to the little ones and take them on a magical tour of Santa’s House, the Toy Factory, the Sweet Factory, the Digital Christmas workshop, the ice rink, the carousel, the train, the ferris wheel and the slippery slides. Nursery teachers and educators will oversee games and learning activities for youngsters of all ages, including everything from chocolate making and painting to uploading video wishes and medal making. Open every day through to 6 January from 10am-10pm. Ticket price 5 euros.
